EVE Doll – Free crochet pattern

Here is a gorgeous doll found on YouTube, the pattern by designer Reem Talaat. As always, the translation and interpretation are my own.

MATERIALS:

• 4ply Cotton yarn (100g = 350m) in the following colors: light apricot (skin color), black, red, and white
• White lace for the dress.
• Synthetic hair or brown yarn
• Embroidery threads
• Sewing hooks for the dress
• 1.5 mm crochet hook
• Wire for the skeleton

The doll has a height of about 26cm.

Hands x2 (skin color yarn)

• 1. 6sc in MR = 6
• 2. (inc3sc, 2sc)x 2=10
• 3) 1sc, inc, 4sc, inc, 3sc =12

Optional: Instead of filling, wrap the wire with duct tape. Put the wire in the arms!

Left leg (Start with white color. Stuff while you crochet)

• 1. 8ch, from the second ch from hook: inc, 5sc, inc3sc, and on the other side of chain: 6sc =16
• 2. 2inc, 5sc, 3inc, 5sc, inc = 22.
• 3. (1sc,inc)x 2, 5sc, 6inc, 6sc, inc = 31
• 4. (2sc, inc)x 2, 5sc, (2sc, inc)x 4, 7sc, inc = 38 +3 sc offset (to be in the center of the heel), turn

Cut the plastic soles!

• 5. BLO: 38sc
• 6-8. 38sc (3 rds)
• 9. 11sc, 8dec,11sc = 30

Insert the plastic sole.

• 10. 9sc, 6 dec, 9sc = 24

Model the wire according to the shape of the foot.

Insert the wire inside the leg and continue crocheting around the wire.

Bend wires to form the body and join the rest of the wire.

Change to skin color:

• 1. 10sc in MR.  Don’t close the ring to pass the wire to support the head.

Green pin = 12 rows from the top, aligned with the center of the beard

Yellow pins = 10 rows from the top, 2sc laterally from the green pin

Red and purple pins = 7 rows from the top with 4sc between them.

White pins = 6sc laterally from yellow pins

Ears (skin color yarn)

Count 5sc from the base of the eyes, sideways and crochet by inserting the hook into the head: 5hdc in the same stitch.

Dress (red color yarn)

Work in rows without a starting chain:

• 1. 22ch,  from the second ch from hook: 4sc, inc, (5sc, inc)x2, 4sc, turn = 24
