Hi everyone!
I found this pattern on Pinterest and I have crocheted it because I liked the design. The creator of this model is Irina Lelyakova, but as expected I also found some mistakes that I corrected. So I invite you to choose which model you like best: the rabbit with the long sweater or the one with the bare belly.

- Sew the carrot in front on the sweater.
- Sew the tail on the back.
- To make the ears stand straight, I sprinkled them with hairspray!
FAT RABBIT WITH LONG SWEATER
The head, hands, ears, tail are crocheted in the same way.
The body must be worked in the same way only that the color of the sweater will change from round 10.
The model I used for the sweater is the one in the photo below, only I lengthened the rabbit’s body a little at the top, due to the fact that I added two more rounds to the model and it shouldn’t have been.

Bello!!!
What type of yarn have you used?
Hi Lynda! I have used cotton yarn (50g/135m).
Hi Carmen, I’m in love with these bunnies!! What size hook did you use? And about how tall is you bunny from head to toe?
Hi Mary! Thank you for the comment.
I have used a 1.5 mm crochet hook, and the bunny is 12 cm tall without ears.
I’m unable to print your free copy because you have it protected.
How do I get written instructions for the sweater?
Hi Juanita!
Save the pattern by taking screenshots and then merge them into a pdf or word.
Thank you for the comment.
You sure don’t make it easy. How about a simple copy and past into a word document. Better yet a PDF button !!! Extremely frustrating.
How are you keeping the ears standing upright? Also row 30 of the body is not correct count.
Hi Vickie! Indeed, an error crept in when I transcribed the pattern. There must be 6 decreases in row 30, so we have (2sc, dec)x 5 and not x 2.
Thank you for the warning.
To make the ears stand straight, I sprinkled them with hairspray!
Hello. I am not sure where says FLO is BLO and where says BLO is FLO. Please let me know if I am ok
Hi Diana! The abbreviations are in a separate article. There is a link to this one with reference to them.
BLO = only in back loop; FLO = only in front loop.
The pattern is good, as how I wrote. FLO is FLO and BLO is BLO.
4. (3v, incr)×3=15
5. 3 losse , 15 vaste op het 1e been . 3 vasten op de ketting . Welke ketting? Daarna 15 vasten op het tweede been. Maar die heb je toch nog niet gehaakt?
Graag uw antwoord

Ik heb de oplossing al gevonden. Ik moet eerst 2 beentjes haken. Hi hi
Grazie
Hi. The pattern is very cute. If the BLO and FLO are both done into the same row, say row 14, when I get to the row after, say row 16, am I crocheting into the top of the BLO stitches or the FLO stitches? Thanks
Hi Tracy! Thank you for the comment.
On row 16, crochet first in FLO and then on the same row in BLO. A stripe will form that delimits the edge of the sweater (see photo)
I think I can clear up the confusion of FLO/BLO in the same row:
After crocheting row 15 you will of course have a row with FL and bl first crochet in the front loop of row 15 and then crochet in the back loop. This causes the bump or roll that starts the little sweater.
Don’t over think it. It will make sense when you get to it.
Thank you for this ADORABLE pattern! Everyone in my family will be sent one this year as a gift for Easter this year? I can’t express how thankful I am for your generosity!
You’re welcome Sues! Thank you for the comment 🙂
