Zuza Doll – Free crochet pattern

Meet Zuza, the adorable amigurumi doll known for spreading joy and happiness wherever she appears!
Its creator Christina Sadz invites you to crochet it!

MATERIALS:

• Crochet yarn – any yarn you like: skin color, favorite colors for shoes, clothes and hair.
• Crochet number – a suitable size for the thread (at least one number less than what is written on the label)

The designer has used:

• Feet [boots]: acrylic 100 g / 150m; [or acrylic + wool 100 g / 250m
• Double thread, if you use double threads, the boots will be bigger – crochet number 3.5
• Feet – body – hands – head: acrylic + wool 100 g / 225m or acrylic + wool 100 g / 250m – crochet number 3
• For hair: angora 100 g / 500m or you can use any other fluffy strand.
• Yarn for dress: acrylic 100 g / 330m, crochet number 2.5 – 3;
• Safety eyes with a diameter of about 1 cm or buttons (see photo)

The legs-body-head are crocheted in one piece. Sew only the hands.

LEGS x2

You can make the legs with a double thread if it is thinner in the desired color.

First way to crochet the legs (doll in an orange dress)

Dial a chain of 7ch:

• 1: Crochet from the second ch, around of the chain: 5sc, 5sc (in the same st), 4sc, inc (16)
• 2: inc, 4 sc, 5 inc-hdc, 5 sc, inc (23)
• 3: inc, 7 sc, 1 inc-hdc, 5 sc, inc-hdc, 7 sc, inc (27)
• 4: BLO = 27 sc (27)
• 5-8: 27 sc (4 rds)

At the end of the row 8, the marker should be at the middle of the heel. If it isn’t make 1 or 2 sc offset.

• 9: 8 sc, 2 dec, 2 sc, 2 dec, 9 sc (23)
• 10: 7 sc, dec, 4 sc, dec, 8 sc (21)

At the second leg don’t cut the thread and continue.

Join the legs:

In order for the boots to look inwards, it is necessary to move the joining place of the legs a few stitches forward. Adjusts only the rotation of the foot.

From the inside of the leg on the 4sc, crochet two rounds with a starting chain and turn. Connect the first leg from the inside with 1slst and then crochet slst to join them or you can sew on the 3 remaining stitches. (see photo)
